- I just did a little wee…
- Memorabilia overload
- Cork hat anybody?
- That Lambretta man always seems a jolly chap
- Copper chopper, the owner isn’t even a policeman. Weird
- How smart is that and since when was rust sought after?
- Black cutdown anybody?
- Ilkeston Britannia SC look on longingly
- Vespa 946, £9k…or buy 3 Vespa Sprint’s instead
- We love sticker bombing at SLUK
- This bloke is scared of the dark
- The engraver was the owners nephew, he sadly died last year
- Bum bag for your scooter?
- As many tidy scooters outside as there were in the show
- I wish I owned an accessory company
- Original style Rod model, modern PX motor
- The number of the beast
- Stunner…
- Two fat old ladies
- The panel says it all
- I’m a sucker for a tidy cutdown
- Metalflake in abundance
- Everybody needs a scooter paperweight trophy
- From restored to wrecked, Burton has it all
Burton Brewers Custom Show, Burton-Upon-Trent, UK
Kicking off the season in the UK for many, the Burton Brewers Custom Show is a great place to dust off those scooter cobwebs. It’s not the biggest show in terms of entrants but Burton is a good little club event that attracts large numbers through the gates.
This year saw a good turnout, both inside the marquee and outside in the car park and scooterists crammed into the building throughout the day. A couple of mates popped pistons during the gruelling 30-mile journey, man and machine driven to the limits of human and mechanical endurance… Luckily they’ve got time to rebuild the scooters again before Easter.
