Weston-Super-Mare based Scootopia are closing their shop down from Wednesday 25th March due to the coronavirus. The company have made the decision to close the whole operation down (including mail order) until the situation improves.
If you’re looking for some parts for that rebuild during self-isolation get your orders in sharpish…
Scootopia coronavirus statement
We are extremely sorry to announce we have come to the decision that Scootopia will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 25th of March until the coronavirus situation has calmed down. We hope the closure will be no longer than 6-8 weeks (hopefully less).
Our eBay shop will be set to holiday mode, you will still be able to order on the website, but all orders will be shipped once normal service is resumed. Lee will be coming in once a week to pick any orders, deal with issues, emails etc (you will not be able to phone the shop in this time).
Our main concern is the health and wellbeing of both Scootopia and Crown Manufacturing staff, this decision was a tough one to call however it’s looking more likely that the government will be introducing locking down the nation in coming weeks.
We hope to re-open as soon as possible and that life gets back to normal quicker than we think.
