Spanish car manufacturer SEAT has announced today that they are introducing a SEAT branded electric scooter to their UK range. The SEAT MÓ is a 125cc equivalent with 59mph maximum speed and a range of 85 miles. The scooter qualifies for the Government OLEV grant and costs £4996 on the road. It can be yours for just £95 per month on 48-months finance.
The SEAT MÓ is available to order from 24 selected SEAT dealers now. Richard Harrison, Managing Director, SEAT UK, explained: “SEAT MÓ is our answer to the demands of modern urban mobility. With the UK Government’s 2030 deadline to consider, a two-wheeled electric vehicle is the perfect way to evolve the SEAT offering and move away from the conventional. This is a definitive next step on our electrification journey.”
Keen-eyed SLUK readers may recognise the distinctive styling and pull out battery trolley on the MÓ. Yes it’s made for the car firm by Spanish electric scooter manufacturer, Silence. We road tested the Silence S01 earlier this year and were mightily impressed by it. The SEAT offering is available in three colour options, Daring Red, Dark Aluminium and Oxygen White. Like the Silence, it comes with full connectivity to a dedicated app and there are a range of accessories available.

I saw the MOs in the Seat showroom at Arnold Clark, Edinburgh yesterday. It looked good but would I trust AC to properly & safely service a PTW, fix steering head bearings, change tyres and correctly align wheels on refitting, & other PTW specific mechanicals? I wouldn’t trust them to wash my car let alone deal with safety critical work on PTWs. I know EV PTWs are simple and require little maintenance but dealers seems to be increasingly inept whilst becoming ever more expensive.
