As a long time Vespa GTS rider I know that there are a few areas that let this otherwise fantastic scooter down, especially if you live in a temperate climate like many parts of Europe.

That’s why we came up with the original SLUK Guard way back in 2016 when ScooterLab was still in its infancy. Since then we’ve gone on to make various rust preventative products for the modern Vespa. That brings us neatly to the latest, our SLUK Chassis Guard, as seen discreetly adorning the colourful Vespa above.

What is it?

Basically the SLUK Chassis Guard is an under tray designed specifically by us to fit and protect the GTS chassis from water, stone chips, salt and ultimately corrosion. It’s taken us a few months to develop this product over the summer and it’s been made to take into account the differences in the chassis from early model GTS to HPE – it’s a ‘one fits all’ solution.

Chassis Guard is primarily designed to protect your frame but it is also made to look good too, once fitted it gives a discrete custom look to your scooter. It comes in a choice of colours to suit your precious Vespa and there’s even a clear option so you can see what’s happening inside if you are really paranoid.

As with all our plastic range, this is designed and handmade by us in England from recycled plastics. It comes with a full stainless steel fitting kit and everything you need to fit it. It also has drain holes to allow any condensation/water to escape from inside the frame and we reckon it looks pretty trick once fitted. Removal takes a couple of minutes so if you’re buying a used scooter with one of these installed you can take it off so you can see the seller isn’t trying to hide anything underneath.

The Chassis Guard can be fitted with or without a sidestand.
