Scooterist Meltdown is one of those events you really must go to, to appreciate properly. It’s a bit too surreal to sum up in words, but if you like excessive drinking and heavily modified scooters it’s a must. If you’re of the mindset “It’s the middle of winter you’d be mad to ride there” I’d say of the three years I’ve ridden there, I’ve had milder and far drier weather than many Easter weekend rallies in the UK. Just don’t plan a route via the Alps with the Rimini lot.
