SLUK 72-6

Following on from yesterday’s SIP open day feature we have some more news from our German friends. SIP will be hosting a ¼ mile scooter sprint event, not on a desolate track in the middle of nowhere but outside their humungous flagship shop, right in the city. Tacho Karacho will form part of the German DBM sprint Championships.

Where and when

The race will take place on Saturday 21st July at SIP, Marie-Curie-Str. 4, 86899 Landsberg am Lech, Germany. It will have various classes open to Vespa, Lambretta and auto. Expect extreme German engineering and high horsepower.

The event will also be broadcast live on the SIP Youtube channel and Facebook with commentary by German national ice hockey player, Harald Birk who also commentates on SKY/DAZN. Of course the shop and it’s SIPERIA will be open during the day so you can have some retail therapy, or a nice cold beer/soft drink/pizza or ice cream.

It’s the perfect opportunity to have a weekend away in Germany and see some live action whilst you’re there.
