VFM and the LCGB have confirmed that the last BSRA National Scooter Rally of 2018 will be at Bridlington over the weekend of 26th-28th October. This comes after the event was left as T.B.C. after the recent Number Ones meeting. The event will then alternate between Bridlington and a north west resort in the future.
Col has taken a nostalgic look back at the last 27 years (yes it really is that long) of continuous Bridlington scooter rallies on SLUK today, have a read here, it may well remind you of some facts you have forgotten about.

27 years wow and not been once so won’t break a habit of a lifetime.
Great news! I bet the people of Brid are happy. We always go out on the Thursday just to ease ourselves in. Admittedly it’s a Thursday in a seaside town off season but wow is it quiet. Completely different to the Friday and Sat of the rally. Looking forward to it already!
So why the north west (Southport me thinks )?isnt llandudno there or thereabouts and fills that geographic hole.
as the rally is an LCGB/VFM affair and not a scooter club organised event isnt this a big chance missed to come up with a new venue maybe somewhere in the midlands or even the eastern side of the country or even rotate it aka “4nations rally” around different parts of the country.
Scooter rallies now seem to be like rugby league mainly trans-pennine
why keep calling them the “number ones” wasnt that something that died with the NRC/NSRA days.
