I’m sure many of our readers have had to drop an engine and maybe won’t necessarily be replacing it straight away. That leaves you with a frame that can be awkward to move about and you just know it will get in your way for the next few days/weeks or months. You end up dragging the frame into a corner, backend either propped up or dragging on the floor. Shifting it from one place to another, or having it sat on your workbench.

I’ve seen similar engine stands before (Jon Betts at JB Fabrication has made them for a few years) but this is the first time I’ve used one and it’s well worth having. The BGM Pro stand folds flat for storage, comes ready to use and has lockable castor wheels so you can stop your scooter rolling away. It also has a nut and bolt to go through your engine mounting hole on the frame and a lug to fit perfectly over your rear shock mounting point. Just use a suspension nut to secure that in place.
