We introduced you to the BGM Classic tyres back in March, a German-made tyre with a 93 mph speed rating. Many of us were waiting for the BGM Sport tyres to arrive though and recently they’ve landed at Scooter Center in Germany.

The Sport has a speed rating of 112mph, the highest rated 3.50 x 10″ tyre you can buy and more than enough for any road-going scooter, no matter what the state of tune (we want to see GPS proof if your classic scooter does 112mph…).

UPDATE – COMPETITION NOW CLOSED

Win a pair!

Scooter Center have given us a pair of BGM Sport tyres to give away to a SLUK reader. All you have to do to win a pair is visit Scooter Center’s website and tell us how much one Sport tyre costs in your local currency. Then post your answer as a comment below this post (only answers left on ScooterLab’s website will count). Price conversions may fluctuate but don’t worry about that, we’ll be choosing a winner at random with a believable answer.

Entries close on Friday 5th June at 12 noon, get your entries in…

A while back we ran a competition to win a pair of BGM Classic tyres  The winner, Fred Robson sent us some photos of his 1967 Li Silver Special after fitting the tyres.

Fred said “I was the lucky winner of the BGM tyres and tubes in the Scooterlab competition. I fitted them during the lockdown and have finally been out for a ride on them today, now the restrictions have been eased in the UK. I didn’t go far on the ride but the tyres seem fine thank you.
