Barcelona has been a city ahead of most parts of Europe when it comes down to alternative transport. They’re also one of the pioneers in electric vehicle rental and have just become the first company in Europe to add keyless “Free-Floating” scooters to the range. Founder and CEO of Cooltra, Timo Buetefisch says “There is an ever-increasing number of people who do not buy their own vehicles and instead make use of rental vehicles”. Timo went on to say “Up until now it was time-consuming because of the necessary advance booking, collection and return of the vehicles, thus not being very attractive for all people needing a vehicle spontaneously”.
Cooltra use GOVECS E-scooters. One of the most innovative things about the GOVECS fleet of GO! S1.5 scooters is that they use a cassette type battery that can simply be swapped for a fully-charged one – quickly and easily by the Cooltra team. It means the scooters will always be ready to ride.
