Honda carved out a new niche with it’s X-ADV, a rugged-looking crossover machine – part scooter, part motorbike. For 2022 they’ve added to the popular concept with the all-new ADV350. This one is definitely all scooter but still shares the adventure styling of its sibling.
Designed for Europe and built in Honda’s Italian factory the ADV350 should do very well. It comes with all the practicality a scooter rider expects, plenty of storage space under the seat – 48 litres to be precise and enough room for two full-face lids, a large optional rear rack further extends carrying capacity and can also accommodate a 50-litre Smart top box. The scooter comes with Honda’s Smart key system which automatically locks the scooter when the rider walks away from it and can also be used to open the top box. There’s a two-stage height adjustable screen, LCD instruments, Honda Smartphone Voice Control system – allowing voice management of calls and music through any intercom and the RoadSync app.

Aside from smart tech and good looks the ADV350 also boasts a lightweight tubular steel frame, 37mm USD forks and remote reservoir rear shocks. It comes with six-spoke alloys, 15″ front and 14″ rear wheels. Stopping power is provided by a single 265mm front disc and 240mm rear. The scooter also has ESS – Emergency Stop Signals.

eSP+ Engine
The scooter is powered by a 330cc, enhanced Smart Power SOHC four-valve engine. It makes 28.8bhp and 31.5 Nm of torque, it also has HSTC – Honda Selectable Torque Control. The engine is designed to be quieter and greener – running at 30km/l which should give a range of around 340kms on the 11.5l tank.
Colours
The 2022 ADV 350 will come in a choice of three colours, Spangle Silver Metallic, Mat Carbonium Grey Metallic and Mat Carneliian Red Metallic.
2022 X-ADV updates
The X-ADV received a significant update for 2021 the model will arrive in three new colours for 2022 – Mat Ballistic Black Metallic, Mat Iridium Grey Mettalic, and Harvest Beige. This year’s Pearl Deep Mud Gray and Grand Prix Red will also be part of the X-ADV line up.
The 55bhp 745cc engine will come with Throttle By Wire, have 4-default riding modes, (plus user customisation) and Honda Selectable Torque Control with 3-levels of adjustment.
