Good news plastic fans! After a minor fire at our factory in Leicester at the end of February the forming machine is now back up and running (some dimwit forgot to switch the machine off). We’re sorry if your order has been later than it should have been and thank you for your patience.
Royal Alloy GP 300
We’ve kept our artisan, moustachioed craftsman, Nigel busy though whilst production was halted. Aside from him finishing the build of his 70mph electric bicycle we’ve also had him starting work on some new accessories for the popular Royal Alloy GP 300.
We’re currently playing about with some screen ideas and will have two, or possible three screen options coming up soon. Don’t pay too much attention to the photos above, they’re literally just testing styles using recycled seconds (we’re all for protecting the environment here – until we start our scooters at least). Suffice to say, we will have a ‘Shorty’ screen, 60s Bullet and maybe a third option available before the rally season kicks off properly.
Luggage and spray issues?
We’ll also be making a rear SLUK Support for the standard RA rear carrier – the wooden pattern above will be made into a tool in the next week or so and will solve your droopy luggage problems. We’re also making a rear frame extender, we’ve had a few RA/Scomadi riders asking for one to help stop the spray they generate.
