The rest of our Fireball range use a clamp band around the headlight to fit the screens. It’s a simple, effective and tidy way of doing things but Piaggio didn’t make things quite as straightforward for us with the PX. They designed in some awkward angles which meant brackets were needed. So we’ve taken that lovely Biemme styling and adapted it to suit our laser-cut, hand-shaped brackets. Those brackets fit into the four threaded mirror holes beneath your headset.
Like our other SLUK Plastics products, the PX Fireball screen is hand-made and finished in the UK by us. It’s made from tough ABS and comes in a variety of colours including, gloss black, satin black, silver, white and carbon effect.
The screens come with all the parts you’ll need to fit them (see image above) in stainless steel, so they’ll still look good in a few years’ time.
Fitting isn’t too tricky but we’ve made this little video to help you assemble the cockpit top and fit the screen. We advise that you protect your paintwork with some electrical tape around areas where the screen may touch, prior to fitting.

The screens are available now direct from our SLUK Shop online in the UK. SIP Scootershop also stock our SLUK Plastics range and will have these in stock shortly. If you’re in the EU it’s cheaper for you to order direct with SIP than it is through us.
Due to the huge rise in material costs and utilities, plus the extra cost for the brackets and stainless fittings these will retail at £165 for colours, and £170 for carbon.
