Keis has just released two new pairs of heated winter gloves, with the option to run them direct from the bike\’s battery or to use optional power packs that sit neatly inside waterproof pockets inside the cuffs.
Keis G502 Premium Heated Sports Glove
Forgetting the added micro carbon fibre heating elements for a minute, these are also a full-on well spec\’d winter glove. They use a 100gsm 3M Thinsulate™ layer for added insulation from the cold which allows more dexterity than an \’ordinary\’ thicker winter glove. There\’s also a water and windproof Hipora™ membrane, carbon fibre hand armour across the knuckles and carbon fibre scaphoid protection (a first for a heated glove). They also have a handy visor wipe on the index finger. They\’re certified to European EN 13594: 2015.
Keis G601 Premium Heated Touring Gloves
The G601 shares a similar specification but has leather covering the hard knuckle armour rather than exposed carbon fibre.
Plug in or battery-powered
the gloves come complete with everything you need to connect them to the battery on your scooter (if you have one) but they\’re also designed to use the optional battery packs. The batteries are 2600 mAH each and can power the gloves for up to eight hours, depending on the heat setting – which can be selected on the back of each glove.
Price and availability
