Last week we were at the re-birth of Wolf, a British motorcycle clothing company that has been around since 1969. The brand has lain dormant for a while but it’s back with a brand new collection for 2016. Wolf sits under the MotoDirect umbrella, alongside RST, Arai, AGV and various other household names. Launched inside the splendour of Donington Hall, home and headquarters to another British legend, Norton Motorcycles the collection might just appeal to some of us scooter riders. As well as stylish, not too over the top one and two-piece kangaroo hide leathers the collection also includes a few garments both classic and modern scooter riders might appreciate. Here are some of our favourites.

Wolf Vintage leather jacket Wolf Vintage leather jacket

Vintage jacket: £249.99

Starting with leather, the Wolf Vintage jacket uses full grain milled vintage cowhide, stitched together using triple and double stitched seams using Oxley ™ bonded Nylon thread. The jacket also has a thermal lining, D30® level 2 CE approved armour, YKK ™ vintage zips, comes in a choice of brown or black, sizes 40-50 and retails at £249.99. It’ll look great on a classic scooter.

Tec-Tour Outlast Tec-Tour Outlast

Tec-Tour Outlast ™ jacket & jean: Jacket £299.99, jean £219.99

I’m sure many of us spend plenty of hours riding through varying types of weather, so good textile kit is imperative. This one isn’t cheap but it is very well spec’d. It’s made from a DuPont ™ Cordura ™ 300/500 Teflon coated outer, it also has an XTR ™ 8000/10000 removable ultra-high performance, waterproof and breathable membrane. It’s also got a high-spec quilted Outlast ™ full-length lining, external Wolf TPU shoulder Energy Deflection System. Further protection comes from D30 ™ level 2 CE approved back, shoulder, elbow, hip and knee protection. It’s got a removable throw coat, waterproof zips, multiple air vents, water bladder, rear storage pocket. You get the gist… it’s the top of the range Wolf textile. It’s available in black or sand, jacket sizes 40-52 and jean sizes 30-42. There’s also a matching set of gloves at £89.99.

GT-S Outlast ™ textile jacket: £239.99

This one might be a favourite with certain auto riders thanks to its name. The GT-S offers very similar spec and construction to the Tec-Tour but comes with a removeable gilet and enhanced ergonomics for a more relaxed riding position and fit (GT fit). It costs £239.99, comes in black and sizes 40-50. There’s no specific trousers to go with this one but it can be used with the Tec-Tour or Freestyle trousers (pictured). The Freestyle jacket costs £199.99, and the jeans £149.99.
