I’m sure most of you will have heard the terrible news from Mallory Park BSSO by now. Yesterday morning during the second lap of the first Production/4E race of the day a racing incident occurred. Tragically Stefan Manoli succumbed to his injuries on the track.
Stefan’s wife, Shelley broke the news on social media early yesterday evening. That was followed up later by a statement from Dave Bristow, chairman of the BSSO, friend and teammate to new boy, Stefan.
It’s fair to say the scooter racing world is in shock, it’s not something we’ve ever had to deal with before in the sport. From us, at ScooterLab we’d like to extend our sincere condolences to Stefan’s wife, daughter Natasha, family and friends. We’d also like to send our thoughts to everybody in the race paddock (and those spectating) at this shocking time.
